Congratulations to Pat on receiving honorable mention for her submission to the Writer’s Digest 2021 November Poem-A-Day Chapbook Challenge! Every year, Robert Lee Brewer offers this opportunity for poets from around the globe to submit a chapbook of poems written in response to his November prompts. Pat’s chapbook is titled STURM and DRANG.
In addition to Pat, we’d like to congratulate former Bloomers (and current poetic friends) De Miller Jackson (finalist for Losing the Shoes), and J. Lynn Sheridan (honorable mention for Lost).
The winner of the challenge is Taylor Graham, who, though not a Bloomer, is a poet Walt and I and many here have known and admired for years. Her chapbook is titled November Home. Excerpts may be read at https://www.writersdigest.com/write-better-poetry/2021-november-pad-chapbook-challenge-results.
CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN, PAT! We are honored to have you share your talent with us week after week!

Feel free to share your poems in the comment section below, as always. The idea is not to take away from Robert’s site, but to have a small, safe place where our Bloomers can easily share our poems daily, and interact and encourage one another throughout the month. No need to wait for moderation or sign up for a third-party platform here at Bloomings. We are a small and intimate group. We know you! And we are better for it!Connect, keep healthy, and poem on!
