Connie Peters, originally from western Pennsylvania now lives in Southwest Colorado with her husband, son and two adults with developmental disabilities. Her daughter, also a poet, lives in Louisiana.
Connie writes fiction, creative nonfiction, devotions and poetry for adults and children. Her work has appeared in many publications including Focus on the Family’s Thriving Child, Quiet Hour, 2 Cup of Comfort books and 3 Heavenly Humor books. Her poetry was published in Evangel, Cross & Quill, Christian Communicator, Wounded by Words (2008), The Power of Small (2011), Celebrating Christmas (2011), Prompted (2011) and presedentialprayerteam.com.
Connie writes regularly for The Pagosa Sun, Presidential Prayer Team and Adam Colwell’s WriteWorks. She enjoys playing Canasta and Scrabble, and traveling. She has visited all of the continental United States, and has been writing a poem a day since 2004.
