JULY COVID-19 P.A.D. – DAY 11 THINGS ARE DIFFERENT AT THE LAKE

We have a fascination with water, or should I say lakeside/oceanside. A day at the lake (yes, the one I’ve shared with Marie all these Eerie years) recharges my depleted battery. I find solace there. I’ve made memories there. I love the vision of the lake.

What do/would you look forward to seeing there. Write a poetic scene of something you’ve seen at the beach. Could be the waves upon the shore. Or the raucous birds pestering. A lifeguard’s intensity. Young lovers hand -in-hand along the water’s edge. If you can envision it, you can write it. Be expressive and passionate. That’s what we poets do!
